Obituary of Sonya Popovich Jackson

Sonya Gayle Popovich Jackson passed away in Colonial Beach, Virginia on Thursday, December 20, 2018. She was born in Washington D.C. on September 1, 1937.

Sonya leaves behind her loving husband, William L. Jackson, and two children, David R. Jackson and Martha Lynn Thorpe.  Her parents, who preceded her in death, were Guy Popovich and Bertha Popovich.

Sonya is survived by 5 grandchildren, Heather Hynson, Dillon Jackson, Hannah Jackson of Montross, VA, and Becky Thorpe, and Zachary Thorpe of Plano, TX; and 4 great-grandchildren, Layton Jackson, Avery Jackson, Preston Hynson, and Olivia Hynson.

Sonya will be buried at Arnon Cemetery in Great Falls, VA. with family present.
