Obituary of Krista Maria Goddard

Krista Goddard, of Annandale, Virginia, died peacefully on January 1, 2019 at the age of 79.

Kris, as she was known by most, was born in Berlin, Germany on December 9, 1939. She met her husband, Raymond J. Goddard, while he was stationed in Giessen, Germany. They were married in December of 1958. Ray's military service took the family to various destinations including: Missouri, Wisconsin, Hawaii and Virginia. Needless to say Hawaii was Kris's favorite!
They finally settled in Northern Virginia after Ray's military service. Kris was a homemaker and started a daycare business. She loved children and helped many throughout her life.

Kris is survived by her three children Gary, Caroline and Vanessa, her son-in-law Eddie and her grandson Daniel.

Kris will be joining her loving husband who proceeded her in death in 2006 at Arlington National Cemetery, date to be determined.
