The couple of years we lived next door to the Lamoureuxs in Springfield, VA were some of the best ever. We were immediately welcomed into the neighborhood and it was the only place we ever lived that our son had a whole gang of friends within a block of our house. We shared many holidays and birthday celebrations with the Lamoureuxs and cherish those memories. Barbara and I once sat next to each other on the sofa and watched Dave clean up the kitchen after a tasty shared meal. She nudged me and said "Watch ... he's going to throw out that leftover hot fudge sauce," and he did! Neither of us said a word because a husband who cleans up a kitchen after a big meal is not to be interfered with! Wayne and I both send sympathy to the entire family for the loss of this terrific man.
