Obituary of Arvid Virgil Stanton

Arvid “Arv” Stanton, formerly of Vestal, NY passed away on Wednesday, January 9, 2019.

Born on May 1, 1938 in Springville, Pennsylvania he was the son of the late Albert and Phoebe Stanton. 

Forever appreciative of his family, Arv truly enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.  He was always known to greet everyone with a genuine smile and a little friendly conversation.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 56 years, Aurora, his “boys” Mark and David and their respective spouses, Sherry and Susan.  Additionally, his five grandchildren, Kaitlin, Nykkoya, Whitney, Tyler and Kayla truly kept his life complete.  

Arv is also survived by his sister, Leta Schoen.
