I had the sincere pleasure of working with David over the last 2 years. He was an amazing man with a great deal of talent. David defined work ethic and was a true McGladrey Champion. He was not only my co-worker but my friend and David will remain in my heart forever. My thoughts and prayers are with you always

Dear Epp Family, I am a partner at McGladrey and knew David. He was a bright and wonderful young man. As a mother myself I can not fathom what you are going through right now. I send my deepest, deepest sympathies to you all. I will be at the funeral tomorrow but know the day will be a whirlwind for you so I wanted to express my sentiments here. I will keep your family in my prayers. God bless you.

I cannot express to you the loss we feel here at RSM McGladrey; and yet I know the loss you feel is so much more profound. I lost my husband of 32 years last April. Although young enough to be my own son, David made it a point to ask me often how me and my family were doing (especially our oldest grandchild). David was a good listener and we have shared some very interesting topics of conversation. He was quick to share a good joke or funny email. He was a responsible young man, and yet in total contradiction, his youth would make a surprise appearance. He had a winning smile, a winning attitude...it was apparent that he was going places. He made so many friends here at RSM and touched each of us in a different way. Helen Keller said: What we have once enjoyed we can never lose; all that we love deeply, becomes a part of us. My prayers are with you.

David was one of the first people I met at McGladrey; in a typically classy move, he went out of his way to come over and introduce himself to me personally. I don't think there was ever a single day at work when I didn't hear him laughing about something...what a great person to have to get through the 9 to 5, and what a charismatic, cheerful guy in general. You have reason to be proud.

I worked with David for the last two years - as an auditor, I am rarely in the office - though every day I was, I made a beeline for David's desk each morning. No matter what he was in the middle of, David always had time to catch up. He very quickly became less of a co-worker & more of a friend, one I had the pleasure of spending time with outside of work. David was a great co-worker, a great friend, and above all - a great person with a kind heart. I am so sorry for your loss, David will be missed by all, Gabe
