Obituary of Vera Virginia Farmer

FARMER, Vera Virginia, 72, longtime resident of Falls Church, VA, passed peacefully in the arms of her daughter, at home in Waterford, CT, on April 9, 2010. Preceded in death by her husband Weldon "Tex" Farmer and infant son Junior. She is survived by her sons Donald Farmer (Nancy) of Falls Church, VA, Kenneth Farmer (Grace) of Maurertown, VA, Eldon Farmer (Suzanne) of Manassas, VA, Richard Farmer (Christine) of Annandale, VA and daughter Dianna Decilorami (Michael) of Waterford, CT, Nineteen grandchildren, six great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her father Richard Dickey (Helen) of Luray, VA, brothers Leonard Layman (Shirley) of Alexandria, VA, David Layman of Davidsonville, MD and sister Barbara Jones of Brighton, IA. The family will receive friends and memorialize Vera at the Adams-Green Funeral Home, 721 Elden St., Herndon, VA 20170, on April 24, 2010 from 4 to 5:30 pm.
