Obituary of Harold George Farrell

Harold G. Farrell, age 89, formerly of Somerville, MA and Wayland, MA died on July 10, 2010 at his home in Herndon, VA. He was born on December 27, 1920 in Nova Scotia to the late Rueben and Phoebe Anderson Farrell. Harold retired after 42 years of service with the MIT Draper Labs as plant manager. He was a longtime member of College Avenue United Methodist Church, Somerville, MA and The Community United Methodist Church, Cochituate, MA and he volunteered his time as a Boys Scout Leader for 25 years in Somerville, MA. Harold was the beloved husband of 68 years of Connie Farrell, loving father of Judie Robertson of Herndon, VA and Richard Farrell of Great Falls, MT, proud grandfather of Jacinda, Heather, Todd, Matthew and Beth and 6 great-grandchildren. A Memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 15 th at 4pm at Sterling United Methodist Church, 304 East Church Road, Sterling, VA.
