Obituary of John C. Gherardini

JOHN C. GHERARDINI, age 81 John Charles Gherardini of Fairfax, VA, formerly of Franklin Park, IL went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 13, 2010. John was born in Highland Park, IL son of the late John & Rose (Contratto) Gherardini. He married Bethel Jenness in January of 1958. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Melrose Park, where he was very involved in the building program and construction of the church. He also served as a trustee and usher. At the time of his death he was a member of Oakton Baptist Church of Chantilly, VA. He was a member for 56 years of the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 150 in Countryside, IL. He is survived by his wife, Bethel "Beth" Gherardini; son, John Charles (fiancée Kimberly Ihms) Gherardini III and granddaughter, Elisabeth "Lisa". Family will receive friends Saturday, August 21, 2010 from 4:30 p.m. until time of service at 6:00 p.m. at ADAMS-GREEN Funeral Home, 721 Elden Street, Herndon, VA 20170, with the Rev. Edward Rodriguez officiating. Burial will be in Bruce Cemetery, Bruce, WI. Memorial contributions may be made to Pacific Garden Mission, 1458 S.
