Dear Family, Please accept our condolences. We have such fond memories of your mom/Nana. My dad really enjoyed spending time with her and I will always remember her laugh and smile. May the wonderful memories help you during this difficult time

Dorothy Gilchrist was such a special person. She was a wonderful Mother to DEAN and Penny, and a loving Grandmother to Chelsea and Stephen whom she adored. She was a very special cousin...whom I always looked to as a role model. She held a very important post at the State Departmemt and opened the doors for other women to follow. It was always a special treat to spend Holidays with Dorothy and her family, as she was such a gracious hostess and such a warm and loving person. Dorothy, you will be missed. May God Bless you, now that you are in heaven, and may God bring peace and comfort to Dean, Penny, Chelsea and Stephen in the days ahead.

I am very sorry to hear about your loss; I wish I would've had the chance to meet Aunt Dorothy, she sounded like a wonderful woman. My prayers are with you and though she is now a memory, she is a treasured memory at that. Love, Josephine
