I was very saddened to hear about Charlie's passing. As you may remember, Charlie and my sister Christine were very close. They had a lot in common and shared a very special loving bond. He was a wonderful friend to her and loved her very much, and she loved him very much. After my sister's passing, (8 years ago, Feb. 11th) he had always kept in touch with my parents in NJ by sending cards periodically. This meant the world to my parents and to me. Charlie was a wonderful man. I always wished that he and Christine could have had more of a life together... gotten married, had children.......But I am thankful that he was in her life, even if it was such a short time. She loved him with all her heart, and now they are in heaven together forever. I am so sad, and very sorry for your loss. Sincerely, Nina Stevens Purslow
