Obituary of Jacquelin Carlisle Goodnight

Jacquelin C. Goodnight, 83, a resident of McLean, Virginia, passed away quietly on January 24th at Georgetown University Hospital. Jackie lived in the Washington, DC area for 70 years, where she was born and raised, attended school, worked for the State Department, and met her late husband, Randall E. Goodnight. During the course of his assignments as a Foreign Service Staff Officer, they and their five children served in Vienna, Austria; Belgrade, Yugoslavia; and Islamabad, Pakistan. Jackie is survived by her twin sister, a daughter and four sons, their spouses, twelve grandchildren, and eight nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Saturday February 7th at ADAMS-GREEN FUNERAL HOME, 721 Elden Street, Herndon, Virginia between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM with a memorial service to follow at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center at Georgetown University Hospital.
