Adrian and Mark, I am so very sorry for the loss of your mother. I have so many fond memories of her and many of them rushed through my mind when I saw her obituary. Memories and stories from the Herndon Twin, KAADMA, hanging out at your house with half the neighborhood, etc. I most remember her for her kindness, sense of humor and her love of the two of you. May she rest in peace.

Dear Adrian & Mark, I am greatly saddened to hear that your mother Karen has passed. If you remember, many years ago I worked with your mother at the Herndon Twin and although I haven't seen her in more than 25 years, I remember her fondly. What I remember most about your mother was her intelligence, wit and keen insight, and the many hours we spent together talking and laughing. I always looked forward to working on the days when she was there. Your mother was a remarkable lady that touched all who had the privilege of knowing her. She truly was special and she will be missed by all who knew her. My sincere condolences to you and your families. Respectfully, Alan Siek

I am so saddened to hear of her passing. Karen has been my neighbor for 8 years. She was a loving, kind woman- always with a smile on her face and wanting to talk to me about what was going on in my life. She was always enthusiastic and complimentary. She loved her husband and spoke about how lucky she was to find him later in life. She adored her dog, Molly. I only wish I had taken the time in my "busy" life to speak to her more often. I know she had several health issues and I pray that she is resting in Peace. All my love, Heather

My sincerest condolences to John,Karen's sisters and the rest of the family. Karen's laugh and joyful personality will always be remembered. I'm sure she left her mark at Interior as she did on the Dunbar High School Class of 1959.

Jayne and John, I am so sorry to hear that Karen has passed. Although I have not seen her in years, I could never forget her. Her laughter still rings in my ears and I can still see her in my mind's eye, jitterbugging as the crowd gathers around. My heart goes out to you and your family.

I have often thought of Karen. We were both members of the Dunbar High School Class of 1959. To meet Karen was to always remember her. She brought joy to all. She was a great jitterbug dancer, fun to be with and I am sure all her family and many friends will remember her always. Blessings to all who grieve but I am sure she is in a better place and still bringing joy to all.
