Obituary of Vincent DePaul Griffin

Griffin, Vincent DePaul (Age 85) Of Boynton Beach, Florida on Sunday October 9, 2011 at Hospice of Palm Beach County. Beloved husband of the late Eileen C. Griffin; devoted father of Eileen (Randy) Gilliam, Bud (Barb) Griffin, Teri Booth, Tom (Lily) Griffin, and Alice (John) Wucher; Brother of Betty Beam. He is also survived by 12 Grandchildren. Vincent worked as a printer for the Washington Post for 35 years and retired in 1986. He was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church as well as a member of the Annandale Knights of Columbus. He was an avid golfer and sports fan. He loved the warm weather and beaches of Florida. Friends may call at ADAMS-GREEN FUNERAL HOME 721 Elden Street, Herndon, VA on Thursday, October 13, 2011 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St Joseph Catholic Church 750 Peachtree Street, Herndon, Va on Friday, October 14, 2011. Interment Fairfax Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or to the Heart and Lung Foundation.
