Everyone, we appreciate all the kind words and thoughts we have received over the past day. Dear ones, How saddened we are to learn of Rauna's passing. I will always smile in remembrance of her, and be thankful our paths crossed on this journey of life. I've so many fond remembrances of her,and am blessed to call her my friend. I know how deeply grieved she was by the death of her beloved parents and husband. May her spirit rest in peace now with them. May God comfort you, Cindy, Rick, Amanda, Shelby, Pami, Steve, and precious daughter, during this difficult farewell. You were her shining lights. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Much love, Lisa, Rick, Paul & Tim

I am so saddened and so sorry to hear the news of Rauna's passing. Rauna was a very special and extremely generous woman. When i first moved to Northern Virginia, Pami was my first friend. I have never forgotten and am so thankful for the generosity and love that was extended to me by the Habermans. I spent countless weekends, holidays, dinners and special moments at their home. Rauna has always been very special to me and i cared about her deeply. Rauna's spunk and enthusiasm for life will be carried on by her daughters and granddaughters. I will think of her and all that she means to me often. I know that she is in a beautiful place, smiling down on all of us.

It is with great sadness that we write this note of remembrance of your wonderful mother and grandmother. We have so many fond memories of her and your dad as our neighbors in Forest Ridge and our friendship. We loved when your mother's parents came in from New York with all the great deli food and asked us over to share in all the goodies. Even when we moved from Forest Ridge we still keep our friendship going. She loved all of you so much and she was so proud of her grandchildren. Always remember a part of her will live forever within all of you, as well as the memories of her that will stay in your hearts forever.

Aunt Rauna, I don't even know what to write except... Why? Once again, our hearts are left so broken and heavy. We wonder why God has taken such a blessing from us lives. Leaving us so confused. In life we cross many pathes with people and I feel so lucky that fate brought you and my parents together. In doing so, it a created a special family and for that I am thankful.... I want to thank you and Uncle Mike for always being there for me and for making mine and Pami's childhood such a memorable one. You will forever be in my heart... I love you Aunt Rauna.... Toni

The lessons I learned when I was young are things I don't recall, But Mom, I know, was always there in the center of it all. She instilled in me the "little" things on which my life is built: Courage, compassion, laughter and drive, with a sprinkling of guilt. She gave us all security, by always being there. She didn't always agree with you but you could feel her care She gave us all sincerity and our sense of wrong from right Yet she would stay up worrying if we were late at night. She was the keeper of the clan, and could tell a picture's story. You know that she was proud of us, and reveled in our glory. She had a way of reaching out that kept us all in touch She helped enriched so many lives, we'll miss her oh so much. So boundless was her selfless love and gigantic was her heart, Her daughters class all called her Mom and boy she fit the part. Though sad it is to lose her now, she gave us all so much, She wouldn't want to see us cry, but to laugh and joke and such. So dry off your tears, bring out your smile and let your laughter roar For mom is now in heaven, beating down the door.

Rauna, Rauna. Sadly, I've lost my only sibling and kindred spirit. Circumstances kept our visits infrequent, yet faithfully we kept in touch over the years when it mattered most. While miles apart, you were always in my heart. I will miss you, but keep your memory close while recounting our significant get togethers to my boys and grandchildren. Hold on, I will meet you in paradise soon and there I'm confident, we will make up for lost time.

Pam, we just learned of your loss. I know your family will miss her greatly, her smile, her humor and most of all her unconditional love. Your joy is in knowing that the reward promised all of us is now hers and you can still call on her for guidance and love. She's always with you. We lived on Cottonwood Court for 17 years and I spoke with your father many times as I gardened so I feel I benefitted much from their combined wisdom and humor. God will strengthten you through this time.
