Obituary of Gayle Hamilton

Hamilton, Gayle On Thursday, December 29, 2011 at her home in Sterling, VA. Beloved wife of Ron Hamilton; devoted mother of Terri (Doug) Holbrook, Anngi Tipton, and Ron (Galya) Hamilton. Sister of Pat Mueller, Herbert Nelson, and Sue Kochel. She is also survived by 5 Grandchildren- Sean, Kenny, Rachel, Michelle, and Casey. Gayle was a wonderful wife, mother, sister and grandmother, she was generous, and thoughtful, always thinking of others and their needs. Mommaw selflessly devoted her time, energy and her entire life to making others feel better, whether it was caring for her parents, her children & grandchildren, helping family through surgeries and battling cancer, cooking for the church or sending homemade baked goods to an entire school, making pillows and other crafts for friends and relatives. We all know about her love of quilting ...we will cherish her beautiful quilts throughout our lifetime as they keep us warm and remind us of the special lady she was . The family will receive friends at ADAMS-GREEN FUNERAL HOME, 721 Elden Street, Herndon, Va on Monday, January 2, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A Funeral Service will be held at Temple Baptist Church 1545 Dranesville Road, Herndon, Va on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at 11:00 AM. Interment Sterling Cemetery
