Catherine W. (Clary) Hannon, age 63, died on December 11, 2009 at her home in Ashburn, VA surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was born on March 27, 1946 in Geneva, NY to the late Leo and Margaret Clary.
Catherine worked as a registered nurse for over 40 years, spending the last 15 years at Reston Hospital in Reston, Virginia. She gave tirelessly of herself volunteering at numerous organizations. Catherine was the beloved wife of the late Kevin H. Hannon, loving mother of Thomas Jensen of York, PA, Christopher Jensen of Manassas, VA and Michael Jensen of Leesburg, VA, sister of Lee Clary of Black River, NY, Jeanne O'Connor of Reisterstown, MD and Daniel Clary of Grantham, NH, step-mother of Patrick Hannon of Bethesda, MD, Kathleen Churchyard of Concord, NC and Meghan O'Connell of Kailua, HI, proud grandmother of 7 grandchildren and 6 step-grandchildren, she is also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews.
The family will received friends on Monday, December 14 th from 1-3pm and 7-9pm at Adams-Green Funeral Home, 721 Elden Street, Herndon, VA. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 15 th at 11am at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 11900 Lawyers Road, Reston, VA.
