Obituary of Edna McConnell Henke

Henke, Edna M Of Herndon, Va beloved wife of the late Harry Henke. Loving mother of Richard Clayton Shaver , Nancy Shaver of Reston, Va and Mary Shaver of Herndon, VA. She is also survived by one brother Louis McConnell of Herndon, Va. Edna was a member of the TAU SFO Secular Franciscan Order. The family will receive friends at ADAMS-GREEN FUNERAL HOME, 721 Elden Street, Herndon, VA on Thursday, March 8, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Prayers will be said at 7:00 PM by the TAU Fraternity with a Rosary to be followed at 7:30 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 750 Peachtree Street, Herndon, VA on Friday, March 9, 2012 at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Herndon Harbor Adult Day Care Center , 875 Grace Street, Herndon, VA 20170. Please make checks payable to "The Day Care Center" . Interment Cedar Hill Cemetery in Suitland, Maryland.
