To Sally and Jeanne: I am saddened to hear about the death of my cousin Bob. I shall remember all the good times we all had when we were together. Memories are forever, and my memories of Bob will help me smile at this of sorrow. I am sad that you two have lost your brother. May he rest in peace now that he is home to enjoy the company of his/your parents and my father. Love to both of you, Lois

Sally and Jeanne, I was saddened to hear last night from Jeanne about Bobby. Although I did not know my cousin very well, there is nevertheless a special feeling of loss when a member of the family passes. My memories of Bobby are from visits we made to Virginia when we were rather young. I have some old movies of visits with your family that include Bobby. Your may remember seeing some brief clips of those movies at Pop's 95th birthday party. I am still slowly working through old movies and slides from both my father and Irv. My brain is getting clouded as I grow older and those old films now are becoming an important part of my memory. I will send you any I come across that include Bobby and your parents as I find them. Thank you for the picture of Bobby on this web site. I can see a lot of the family in him! May he rest in peace. Our families have always been separated by living away from Connecticut, but Dottie and I always enjoyed the times when we did see each other for those inevitably brief visits.

We have both known Bob since high school, and will always remember him in his gentleness, thoughtfulness and sensitivity. Way back then he loved basketball, and he excelled at football, but he had the soul of a poet. His sense of humor always was there with him whenever we saw him or spoke with him through the years, even through the crises he dealt with. He had many friends, some now gone, and some still around, and he was always a good friend to have, no matter your own situation. We send our condolences to Bob's family and friends.

Bob had a great role in our lives and, although we were no longer in touch, he will be remembered and thought of often. He was one of the funniest people we've ever known. Very intelligent and clever with words. He made up the name "Jimari" which we use for our email address. It's a loss that he died so young.
