Mary, Shelly, Heather and Julie-- I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I hope you find some comfort in knowing that he touched so many people in a positive way--we have so many good memories of you guys from the running days--seems like it was just yesterday. I probably can't make the viewing or the funeral as we have a meet Wed night and we're still in school on Thursday. Take care of yourselves-- Anne Zumbach (and Lee)

So, so, so sorry. Losing one's spouse is absolutely the worst thing that can happen. I lost my wife in September so I understand and know what you will go through. Surround yourself with your children and friends. They are the only ones who can help you. I was a classmate of Tom' at Hoban. We will miss him. Tom is at peace and free of all pain and discomfort. Again, condolences.........

Dear Mary and family, Sandy and I were extremely sorry to learn of Tom's illness and passing. I remember Tom from high school and college as we painted homes during the summer to pay for school. Tom was very independent and an astute business man even back then. But most of all I remember a very honest and great friend. We feel very fortunate to have shared your wedding, and will keep Tom in our prayers. Please know that although we cannot be there with you, you are thought of during this diffocult time. May God bless you and keep you in his embrace. Pete & Sandy Procaccio

Dear Mary. He was such a brave and good man. We were friends and classmates at Hoban High, and after that we were friends and neighbors when you and Tom lived across the street from us on Bradley Boulevard in Chevy Chase. Then we all got busy with careers and families, and went our separate ways for many years. I am happy that Tom and I had the opportunity to re-connect at your home a few weeks ago, but I am sad that the catalyst for our reunion was his illness. That evening, I was so impressed by Tom's courage, his positive attitude and the strength of his spirit. Now his pain and suffering are over and gone, and he is rejoicing in Glory with God in Heaven. May God bless you and your family, Mary, and give you the strength and peace to get through this difficult time of loss. Tom Keller

Dear Howard Family: I have such wonderful memories of your Dad. I remember the 1 or 2 times I left my car at their house and how he would tinker under the hood, change the oil, and make sure the car was safe for me when I returned. He was a very caring and giving man. I am sending lots of love and hugs to all of you. Melissa (Donahue), Adam & Arielle Schrager

Dear Mary and Family : Nancy and I want to express our condolence on the passing of Tom; who I held in great esteem and admiration. He was always so caring and sincere in every detail of life. I am very fortuante to be his cousin and I have many fond memories of Tom. I was always impressed how he made surprised vists to my mother; making her feel so happy and imposing upon her with a sense of importance. She wore a smile on her face several days after. I am sure my mother was not the only person he made feel that way. Now that his pain and suffering are over ,Tom will reunite with his mother, father, and sister and all of those who he dearly loved in the presecence and glory of God. Please know that although we cannot be there with you and your family and his brother and family during this difficult time, our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
