Daddy,
lt's been 16 years now since I lost you. You are never far from my thoughts. I miss you so much, and I'm so very glad I had those last precious moments with you...
So many memories...mostly happy ones, and a few sad ones too...
Family birthdays... Holidays... Driving to the Capitol Center to watch the Washington Capitals... All those tons of homemade pizzas we made and gobbled up together!... You taking me to ice skate so many times at Cabin John Ice Rink, Maryland...
Tons of family campouts at the Mountain place...vacations, and other trips, especially the many trips to Indiana and Florida...
The 2 longer trips to California and all the sightseeing (especially the final trip, where the 8 of us each got the stomach flu, but not on the same day!), so we had to continue on driving anyway...
Lots of day visits over the years, to forts, caves, etc., so we had to continue driving...that awesome final Alabama concert ever...
Bawling my head off as you escorted me down the aisle at my 1986 wedding, because I had finally gotten nervous...
Thank you for introducing me to God and Church, which led to my salvation...
Watching you hold my 2 precious babies after their births...
Thanks for driving me so many places...
And most importantly - thank you for being YOU, and for all the ways you showed me your love, throughout the decades of my life...
You were always there for me when I needed you most, and I will be so thrilled to see you again when I get to heaven one day...
All My Love, Forever...
Sarah❤️
