Kent rescued me from the abyss of solo practice by offering me an associate position in 1985. Kent was clearly well-served by his values as he always maintained his sense of humor and perspective.

Kent Kidwell was a gentleman, one of a vanishing breed, well liked by everyone that had the fortune of having met him. He will be missed and remembered.

Kent was our lawyer who we admired and respected. He assisted us with sincerity, kindness, and professionalism in dealing with our estate matters. Meeting with Kent was like visiting with a friend. He will truly be missed. We will remember him in our thoughts and prayers. We had a common bond in the family name Kidwell since Mary's maiden name was Kidwell. Her father's family was originally from Reston. Our deepest condolences to Kent's family. Rudy and Mary Marrazzo. Fairfax.

Dear Gerd, Kristin, John, and all family and friends, Please accept our love and condolences as you escort that good man Kent to his final rest. He is the best friend a man could have and loved his family with a fierceness that will, I believe, defy death. He will join me this summer, I know, drinking a glass of red wine as we enjoy a baseball game on the radio (always better than TV) on the back porch. July 4 will not be the same without his sonorous voice proclaiming - so as to defy all monarchs and aristocrats - the Declaration of all our Independence. Be at peace, our dear friend, and be joined to all who love you throughout our lives on earth - and to come. Love, Bill and Carolyn

My heart goes out to Mrs. Kidwell, John & his family, Kristin, Tal, Tori, Austin, Allie and to the rest of the Kidwell family. Mr. Kidwell was one of the smartest men I had the pleasure of knowing. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and all out great man. This time is very difficult to get through. He may be gone in body but he is always alive in spirit and memory. My prayers are with you all. May you rest in peace Mr. Kidwell.
