Dear Family of Esther, I am sorry for your loss. Although I did know Esther personally, I know she was loved and highly esteemed by many . When sad things like this happen, we may ask why? We may even wonder if there is anything we can look forward too. I wish to share with you the source of true comfort which can be found in the Bible’s resurrection accounts. Reading such accounts, meditating on them, and visualizing the events can make the resurrection hope more real to you. (Romans 15:4) These are not just stories. They actually happened to real people like us, living at a real time and in a real place. Please read in your Bible 1 Kings 17:8-24, Luke 7:11-15; Luke 8:49-56; Under the government of Gods son Jesus, the Bible at Revelation 21:3,4 shows that at that time sickness and death will be no more. We can look forward to the wonderful resurrecction promise at a future time when John 5:28,29 will be fullfilled. Please read these texts in your copy of the Bible and be encouraged by them. Ester was such a special woman. Last winter she took care of my mother in Massachusetts for six weeks and became a part of our family. She was loving, kind and compassionate. Our condolences to her children and grandchildren, whom she talked about all the time. She will be sorely missed by every heart she touched.
