Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this difficult time! There are so many memories of your Mom growing up! Oh, how she loved all us kids!!!! To watch her through FB and the joy she had with her grand babies (big and small) I know they were her life! I hope as the days, months, years go by you all can use all the memories to bring a smile to your heart! Sterling Park will surely be different without Mama Harman! Hugs coming from Ohio! May she continue to be your #1 fan from above! Rest In Peace Mama Harman!

I’m so sorry for your recent loss. My deepest condolences to your family. Death of a loved one is never easy to endure, but you don’t have to go through it alone. Continue looking to God and you will always find comfort in him (2 Cor 1:3,4). He will soon destroy the enemy of death (1 Cor 15:26), and He will soon return our loved ones to us through the resurrection (John 5:28,29). Please visit JW.org and search “When Someone You Love Dies”, it helped me through some difficult times and I hope you can find comfort in it also.

Linda and I attended High School together, and I always remembered her as a sweet girl who loved to joke around. I always teased her because she never wore the same pair of shoes to school twice. I asked her once how she could always wear a different pair of shoes each day and she confided that her aunt shared her shoes with her, as she loved shoes as much a Linda did.
When my daughter, Kelly Rae, died suddenly last year at the age of 47, Linda was one of the first classmates/friends to contact me. She phoned me and she still had the same sweet, soft voice. We promised to keep in touch. She contacted my parish church here in Roanoke and had a Mass celebrated for my daughter. She knew that would give me much comfort and it certainly did.
My prayers are with her family and friends who are now grieving the loss of this wonderful person. May God comfort them as they journey the road of healing and heal from the pain of separation.
Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord. And let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in Peace. Amen.

Oh my, so many memories of the almost 25 years we were neighbors to this wonderful Harman family. Linda was exuberant, happy & always giving of herself to friends & the community.
As we think back through the years, visions of dancing the Macarena; bunnies galore; tantalizing smells of homemade Italian cooking; Easter egg tree in the front yard & eternal Christmas & Boyd's Bears twinkling inside; Ed, Brian, Bill & Michael shooting hoops in the backyard; cheerleaders practicing their routines with Linda leading the way; and Linda saving our home & guiding Brian & Heidi when a pot of oil caught fire.
We certainly are blessed to have known Linda as our friend & neighbor. She will be missed but lives on in the hearts of those whose lives she touched. God Bless All

To the Family, so sorry for your loss. Hope you will be comforted in knowing that Linda has the prospect of being resurrected, healthy (in the flesh), to Paradise Earth just as Jehovah God has promised. In fact , the vast majority will enjoy everlasting life right here on earth as God had intended from the beginning. God's Kingdom will do this under the rule of Jesus Christ. So incredibly sad and shocked to hear that Linda passed away. She was an amazing person...one of my most favorite people ever! We had so much fun when we worked together - I'm sure we laughed more than we actually worked! And I'll never forget how excited she was when my son was born so she could be his "Nana"...many, many wonderful memories of her! She will be missed by so many! To all of her family, please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers!

The good memories close to your heart ❤️ they will never be forgotten. Thank goodness the grandkids got to enjoy her love for them for so many years. Never knowing how short those years are only to late to realize. She left us only knowing how much she enjoyed being with family and leaving them in in good hands. My mom and I were so devastated and heartbroken when we got the news yesterday of Linda passing. There are so many memories that go back to when I was a child from her being my cheerleading coach to her working with my dad in our family owned business. My dad gave her a nickname way back when of “Smurf” and it has stuck with her through the years of us knowing her. Linda- and my mom had the same first name and it was his way of distinguishing the Linda’s of the office to name her Smurf ..lol.. I grew up with two of her daughters and when there were sleepovers.. I just had a ball and Linda always treated me like one of her own and not to mention her cooking..yummy.. My mom and I could go on and on of all the memories we’ve had with the Harman’s.. she will definitely be missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone and we just ask that God comfort everyone during this most difficult time

I was in total shock when I read the news yesterday. I could go on and on about this lady my dad called Smurf. I've known her since the 3rd grade and she even worked for my fathers business when I was growing up. Our families like many others have been touched by Linda in so many ways as our paths crossed so many times living in the Park. Always so happy and willing to help out anyone in need. She was def the mayor of Sterling Park for many years and if you played LL Football, you knew who Linda was. Always had the best and biggest cheer squad on the field, GO RAMS and yes I played on the Rams!!! She always commented on my Duke posts as we love our Dukies!!!
Linda you will be missed by soooooo many, may god bless your family and may you RIP now and keep us all safe.
