Sarah was one of my office mates when I was an IA at Terraset. She often brought her students in for a lunch bunch or a small group math lesson. Her students would laugh at her funny jokes during lunch and she was always so generous with them—offering extra snacks when she knew they were still hungry after lunch. She loved all of her kiddos and would hang their notes, pictures and letters on the wall by her desk. Some mornings I would come into the room and she would be reading those notes over and over. She really cared deeply about the children she worked with. That love was really inspiring, and I know it sustained Sarah through some tough times.
I’ll miss her very much.
