We were so saddened to hear the news about Joe. We worked with him at Raytheon for 25+ years. We were a very close working group back in the late 80's and early 90's under Dennis. Joe was always happy and smiling every single day. May the care and love of those around you provide comfort and peace in the days ahead. Our most sincere condolences.

Betsy and I were so sad to hear the news about Joe’s passing. My memories of Joe were stopping by his office and sharing a few minutes to talk work or just to catch up. We will miss his wisdom, his wit, and his friendship. All taken away too soon. Our hearts, thoughts, and prayers go out to Krista, Michelle, and Nicole.

Truly saddened to hear of the passing of Joe. From the day I interviewed at Raytheon n 2008 until the time I left, it was always a great pleasure to work with him. He was a great person with a wealth of knowledge and humor and quick wit to match. To the Yavulla family, my sincerest condolences and sympathy.

My heart broke at this news. I had the opportunity to work with and got to know Joe a few years ago. He was always a jovial and friendly individual who brightened up the day. While the work was challenging - Joe always had a good attitude and could always come up with a positive to bring a smile to folks faces. He departed too soon.

Another Melparite passes too soon.
To the Yavulla family, I had the honor and privilege of knowing and working with Joe for 20+ years. While he was passionate about his work, he never failed to be compassionate about the people that worked with him. No matter his troubles of the day, he always had a smile and something positive to say for you when you stopped by his office.
I know you will miss him terribly. We, his fellow retirees, will miss him as well. My sincerest condolences.

Terribly saddened to hear of Joe's passing; my deepest condolences to his family. I had the great pleasure of working with Joe, and then for Joe, in the later 90s and early 2000s. He was the perfect combination of professional, comedian, mentor, and friend. He will be sadly missed.

I'm very saddened to hear of Joe's passing. I live in the Dallas, TX area and retired 3 years before Joe did. Years before I retired, my job brought me to start working with the Raytheon group in Falls Church. I didn't know a soul there. Joe was the very first guy I met. In my many trips in years following - I always looked forward to Joe's great big smile, his willingness to go out of his way to help others, and his can-do approach to problem solving. He was a great person - truly one of the good guys! God Bless you Joe! Family, you are in my thoughts and prayers.

I always enjoyed working with Joe because of his honesty, intelligence, and great sense of humor. When I had some medical issues of my own, Joe supported my decision to retire even though it meant he had some extra demands on himself to fill my position. Joe’s selflessness contributed to me being alive today. Thanks Joe. You were a good one, and I’ll miss you.

I am so sorry for your loss. I had the pleasure of working with Joe at Raytheon for the last few years before he retired. He and I used to get to work early each day and it was always a delight to see him and talk to him each morning. We used to talk a lot about gardening and Ocean City Maryland. He was such an amazing person who will be missed so much. All of you will be in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless you and your family.

I'm saddened to hear of Joe's passing, and at such a young age. I enjoyed working with Joe when we were both at E-systems, then Raytheon. Knowledgeable, hard-working, straight-shooter. All-around good guy.

So sorry to hear about Joe's passing at such a young age. I knew Joe at E-Systems and more recently, he was a shooting and lunch buddy. He was part of a small group that would go pistol target shooting followed by lunch. He will be very much missed.
