With broken hearts we would like to announce the passing of our beloved husband and father, Joseph  Jacob Yavulla, Jr.  Joe passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by loved ones.

Joe was the son of the late Joseph Yavulla and Margaret Yavulla, who resides near the family home.  He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Krista and their daughters, Michelle and Nicole. 

Joe was born in Washington, D.C. and resided in the Metropolitan area his entire life.  He is a graduate of The University of Maryland and retired from The Raytheon Company in 2017 after 36 years of service as a Program Manager.  Joe enjoyed gardening, history, music, and spending time with friends and family at the beach. 

We are a family filled with love and a huge part of us is now missing.  We will be forever grateful for the many friends and family members who stood by us, prayed for us, and helped us through this fight for Joe’s life. 

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, August 24^th at the Adams-Green Funeral Home, 721 Elden Street Herndon, VA 20170. .
