Obituary of Jason Gregor Emch

Jason Emch, age 42, passed away on Tuesday, September 3rd, 2019 in Reston, VA.

A beloved son and cherished brother, devoted husband and admired friend, Jason will be remembered for his humor and clever wit, intelligence, and the kindness and charm all those that met him would come to know and love him for. A valued member of the local role-playing game community, Jason was a master-class storyteller imagining beautiful worlds and larger-than-life characters in daring adventures, guided by the roll of a D20 dice. These stories and the worlds he created will live in the hearts of those he left behind, as will the memories of love and laughter, the late night discussions of science and philosophy, the shared hobbies and history.  

Jason is survived by his parents Richard and Laura Emch; his sister Jessie Emch Mouw, her husband Ryan and children Owen and Skyler; his sister Karen Emch Herms, her husband Matt and son Jonah; and his wife Victoria J. Brown. 

A celebration of life service will be held at 7 PM on Thursday, September 12, 2019 at ADAMS-GREEN Funeral Home 721 Elden St. Herndon, VA.
