Obituary of Michael James Inglesby

On Friday September 13th, 2019, the world lost one of its brightest lights when Michael James Inglesby died unexpectedly in his home in North Carolina. Michael was a son, brother, grandson, nephew, uncle, and most importantly, everyone’s friend.

Michael spent his childhood in Great Falls, Virginia and graduated from the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina in 2015. He was a world traveler, avid music lover and life enthusiast. He spent his off time with his siblings, Laura, Katie, and Johnny traveling, and seeing live music. He loved spending time with his family, his nephews and his friends.

His professional life was dedicated to helping other people make their dreams come true. What he wanted most in the world was to make it a better place; a trait he learned from his beloved mother Susan and devoted father John who taught him that the most important thing in life is to do your best to make a positive impact on the people around us.

Michael was a champion to us all, a loyal friend, and dedicated family member. He is survived by his mother and father, John and Susan Inglesby, his siblings Laura Williamson, Katie Lane, and Johnny Inglesby, his grandmothers Valerie and Doris, his brothers-in-law Bo and CJ, his nephews Blaine and Everett, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Adams Green Funeral Home on Thursday, September 26, 2019.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, September 27, 2019 at United Methodist Church 10100 Georgetown Pike, Great Falls, Virginia.
