I am so saddened, i just came across the obituary of Dr Suresh, may the Good Lord comfort his family, he was a man with large heart & open arms... I knew him when he was a mbbs student at CMUL, Lagos & he partly financed my secondary education. Uptil today I still practice his ways of keeping his clock 30-60 minutes faster & throwing/keeping money around the house (culture of savings)... May his gentle soul rest in peace!

I am so sorry to learn about Dr. Verghese. He was such a wonderful doctor. He really cared about his patients. He was truly my best doctor, and will be greatly missed. He loved his twins, i would always ask about them and he would just light up because he loved them.
Dr. Verghese was such a caring doctor. I would always keep him in my prayers and hoping he would get better. May God continue to bless and keep you all. God Bless. I just learned of his passing.

My deepest sympathy for such a great loss, I have been Doc’s patient since he replaced Dr.Tanner. He was very thoughtful to me when we couldn’t get my pressure down as I was so worried about my grandson. He asked had he ever played his song he wrote on his guitarFor me. It was so beautiful. We laughed & I sang for him. My pressure was down after that & he let me go home. I am the one who gave him the sets of clippers for the boys. I tried to teach him a better way to cut his son’s hair. He did fine. I was a Cosmetology Teacher at that time. I shall never forget his kindness. May the Lord Bless you all & keep you. Thank You for sharing him with us.

I just learned of Dr. Verghese's passing yesterday. I'm so sorry. I was hoping and praying he got better. He was the best doctor I've had. He wasn't just worried about your physical being but your mental health as well. I miss him taking care of me.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Dr. Verghese was not just our family physician, he was a friend, counselor, and a God gifted humble soul. We shared many stories about marriage, children, work, life and India. In 2014, my sister (in the picture) was diagnosed with cancer and her last wish was to spend time with me in Maryland. I was broken and just didn’t know what to do. I told my sister, I was taking her to see Dr. Verghese. She was his last patient. He adored my little niece and told me to be extremely careful and protective of her. Dr. Verghese touched our hearts when he pulled out his guitar, played it and sang John Legend “All of Me “ to my sister. He asked my niece to sing with him and she did. It was so hard to hold back the tears. We came out of his office filled with joy. We will truly miss him and I am sure he and my sister are singing together in Heaven

Dr. Verghese was the most wonderful, caring, knowledgeable, doctor I have ever encountered in my life. He was my doctor at the beginning of his practice in Ft Washington until I moved to Texas in 2013. He always remembered our conversations and always asked me about my family members and personal relationships. Unbelievable!!! I am 72 years old and I have NEVER had a doctor who remembered our personal conversations. He always shared recipes with me and even brought me spices to cook them. Love love love him so much. My prayers go out to all of his family, friends and patients.

Dr. Sureh Verghese was not only my patient, but my Doctor and my friend. I had the privilege to care for Dr. Verghese in his own home. I found him to be very kind and very supportive to his family and me as a caregiver. Caring for the doctor who knew every procedure could be challenging, but he made things very easy for me to provide him the care he deserved.
What touch me most about him is his strong faith in God and his love for his family. He was so compassionate when he learnt my mom passed away. Doctor you fought the good fight and as much as your dear wife, children, family and friends need you; your heavenly father needs you most.
Rest in perfect peace with the Lord.
I will forever miss you.
