Dear Gary, Mel, Brad, Suzy, and Greg, and all the grandchildren,
Please know that our hearts, thoughts, and prayers go out to you on the loss of your beautiful wife, mother, and grandmother. I don't know anyone who treasured her family more than Carol did! She always had a picture and a story to share! I have such wonderful memories of our many hours spent together in friendship whether working at CAA or celebrating our Anniversaries together. She will be forever lovingly remembered in Austin. Dear Mr. Heinberg, Melanie, Suzanna and your families,
I am so sorry to hear the news of Mrs. Heinberg's passing. I remember her--and all of you--with great joy as our next door neighbors growing up on Monroe Drive in Poughkeepsie, New York. They were good years. Mrs. Heinberg always had such a bright smile, this is what I remember about her most. She was a light.

We’ve known Carol for several years and have so many fond memories. We remember the many pleasant conversations, shared meals and get togethers. She always saw the good In people and was Always happy and upbeat. We know she loved her family and with all her struggles, continued to soldier on. She would frequently speak of her wonderful grandchildren and how she lovers to spend time with them. We will miss her but, know that God has a special place for her.

To Carol's family,
I attended VSN only for 7th and 8th grades, but was acquainted with Alan, Carol's brother. However, I never realized, till just a few years ago that our sisters were in same class at VSN, Class of '60. Sadly, my sister, Geri Sobolsky Currie passed as well (3/31/2019). I do recall my sister telling me of the 50th class reunion and she spoke fondly of Carol. Sending my sincerest condolences to all of Carol's family.

Although I rarely saw Carol, I considered her a good friend and thought of her often. In the 50 years that I’ve been in California, Carol always reached out and kept in touch (until recently when she was unable to do so) and through her I felt a connection to old friends and to her family. I had known Carol in fifth grade and Gary since sixth grade, and they probably met each other soon after.
They were a quintessentially devoted couple. And as hard as the last few years have been, Gary never wavered in his love and care for Carol.
We will miss her tremendously.
