Dotty was always so much fun! I worked with her at AT&T for many years and she always made our days there a little brighter. We were also good friends out of work sharing good times with each other and with our daughters. Moe and Alisha , you are in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time, and I share your sorrow.

Here are just a few recent pictures that I have from our gatherings in the last few years. I am going to look for some of the older ones that I have stashed away and post those as well. I have many wonderful memories of Aunt Dotty! From our younger years when she and Uncle Moe would visit Vermont and bring bubble bath, a visit we made to VA during Thanksgiving one year, how she and Uncle Moe took me into their home every other weekend when I was spending a college semester doing an internship in Washington DC. She always made me feel welcome and right at home. I feel fortunate that I had a chance to spend that quality time with the whole family. Thinking of you Uncle Moe and Alisha, T Jay and children and sending our love.

Dear Moe, Alisha & Family -
I am very sorry for the great loss you have suffered. Dotty was an amazing lady!! She touched so many lives and she always loved to help and care for others. I had the honor of working with her at AT&T. I was very young and just starting out and she took me (and so many other young folks just beginning our careers) under her wing and protected and nurtured us and was always there for advice whether it be work or just plain life related. While she loved us all very much, she absolutely adored her Moe and Alisha!!! You were her entire life and she loved you both with all she had. I truly believe she is still right there with you, watching over you both every single minute of every single day, that was who she was. While I feel very sad that I didn’t keep in touch as we both grew older, I will always cherish the memories of the laughter and good times we had together. Sending you all lots of love and my deepest sympathy.
Sincerely,
Jim Hollar
PS- because I know she loved to laugh, I am ending this with lighting a pink candle in honor of that pink smock we all grew to love so much!!

Thank you, thank you, thank you for sharing all the pics of Dotty and family. I worked with Dotty at AT&T for many years and will always remember her awesome sense of humor and witty sarcasm. She had a great big heart under that tough Dotty exterior. Everyone knew the DEEP love she had for Moe and Alisha, as she proudly bragged about and displayed on her desk. Dotty was known for her pink smock (smile), but she was more well known as the "mother" figure/support system for a bunch of us just a bit younger than her. My heart and prayers go out to you. RIP Dotty. I still have the porcelain baby egg you gave me when Hayden was born and now it sits on my night stand in your honor. Prayers, hugs and love.
