Evangelia Pippos, 88, passed away on Monday, June 22, 2020.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Konstantinos. She was a devoted mother of Andreas (Vickie) a proud grandmother of Costa and Panos. She is also survived by sister Katerini Kalkanis and nephew Aristotle Kalkanis, and many other relatives in Greece and New Zealand.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. with a Trisagion service also scheduled at Adams-Green Funeral Home, 721 Elden Street Herndon, VA 20170. 

Funeral service will take place on Wednesday July 1, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Apostles Greek Orthodox Church, 21580 Atlantic Blvd #160, Sterling, VA 20166.
Guidelines in effect for services at the church are as follows:

1. maximum number of people is 65;

2. everyone  must wear a mask; they will not be provided.

3. social distancing (as much as that is possible);

4. no gathering in the hall following the service (when people arrive they must go directly to their seats in the church. Following the service they must proceed directly to their cars).


Interment will follow funeral service at approximately 1:30 p.m. at Fort Lincoln Funeral Home & Cemetery, 3401 Bladensburg Rd, Brentwood, MD 20722.
Guidelines in effect for services at the cemetery are as follows:
Only 200 guest can be at cemetery.
They have to wear there own masks. If you don’t have a mask, you must sit in the car.
Only immediate family will be under the tent.
