Patrick was a polite, fun loving, athletic young man. I have so many memories of him and Kyle growing up and becoming young men. Our hearts break for you, he was loved and he is missed.

Patrick would fill any room he entered with energy and was never afraid to be himself. I always looked forward to seeing him when we visited for dinners or playing with him and his brothers when we would stay over for a longer visit. He will be missed by all of us and sending love and condolences to his parents and brothers.

Patrick was like a member of our own family for many years--he and Luke looked so much alike that people would ask us about our two sons. Patrick was kind, funny, sweet, and always up for an adventure. We have countless memories from Little League and Paw Paw. The world is a lesser place without Patrick. He will always live in our memories and in our hearts. Our deepest condolences to the Byrne Family.

We met Patrick this past Christmas through our grandson Kevin at the Devlin household in Reston. We remember so well having a delightful conversation as we got to know him. We were devastated to hear of his passing, and want to express our deepest condolences to his entire family and to all who knew and loved him. Patrick and Kevin were the closest of friends and enjoyed many happy times together. He will be greatly missed.

Patrick was a shinning light from the moment he graced us with his presence on September 20th 1998. He was always full of joy, ready to try anything. I will never forget his first ski lesson at age 5, of course he did amazingly well. But he just couldn't understand why he he wasn't able to get big air off some jump he found...actually, he was still having that issue last year.
Patrick's spirit will always live on, my memories of him will always contain that smiling face and those eyes of wonder.

We are terribly saddened to hear the news of Patrick's passing. Patrick was a dear friend of our daughter, Megan Wilkins, who dearly loved your son. Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. Megan lost a dear friend, but she will never forget Patrick, nor will we forget him. He recently visited Megan at Virginia Tech and was kind enough to bring me back donuts from Blacksburg for me for Father's Day.
