I have a very fond memory of Evelyn when she was here in Oslo Norway many years ago. She met my aunt, and while neither of them understood a word the other said, the spent hours together in comunication using only gestures and handsigns. They had a very good time together laughing all the time. I could not understand how they understood eachother. It was wonderful to behold. Every time we came to the US, we looked forward to meeting her and her family. We had great joy meeting her.
