Dave was a dear friend and associate. We worked together for many years on many Client situations in support of David's Company. (LeeCor, Inc.) We stayed in touch in the recent past and we would meet for lunch to discuss what ever was current projects at the time. I consider him a dear Friend and will miss him very much. Arnie Westphal, Colonel USMC, Ret. LeeCor Associate.

Dave will be so missed by our community and me. He was instrumental in getting my son Steven to love lacrosse and to be a good guy. I'll never forget Steven, who was 10 at the time, coming home from one of his first lacrosse practices with Dave coaching the team...he said to my wife, "Mom, you're not going to like some of the words he used, but he's a GREAT coach!" My son loved playing for Dave! He loved the post-season gatherings at Dave's house and he even loved when Dave would yell at him on the lacrosse field because Dave was always honest and always helped him. Dave couldn't help but say what he thought. He'd yell at Steven during the game to teach him how to play right and, because he was so brutally honest with him when Steven did something wrong, Steven always trusted Dave's praise when he did something right. It meant more to him.
Dave followed Steven his whole life, asking how he was doing in college and expressing such happiness when he'd hear about Steven's accomplishments. Dave is one of the people Steven always wanted to impress and I'm so sad that Dave won't be raising more kids in our community to love lacrosse and be good people. I knew Dave to always be honest, good and have a heart of gold.
Thank you Dave for helping to raise Steven!!! I absolutely loved seeing you on the sidelines of games every lacrosse season. I always came right over to talk with you because you were such a caring and honest person. I could be myself with you and I always knew you were yourself with me. The world could use more "Dave's." You were a really good friend to me and you will be missed so very very much. Rest in peace my friend, John

My thoughts and prayers go out to David's family. I have such fond memories of working with him in the Tivoli McLean office in the late 1990's.
Dave was a wonderful manager. I remember going to visit a customer together at Westfield's. He forgot his wallet and driver's license, so he could not get into the customer's facility. While I did the meeting, he took my car to McDonald's. To get his coffee and Egg McMuffin, he scrounged money from my glove box. He then showed up to pick me up after the meeting. All the while, approving of the music in my car. I was listening to a lot of Santana at that time. This story like others, brings a smile to my face. This was quintessential Dave. Goodbye, my friend.

Very sad and sorry to hear the news about Dave. He was a good man with a big heart whose passion was inspiring. Fondest memory was a time when I desperately needed coaches to help with a GF lax clinic and of course Dave volunteered. To watch him work out this group of 5 & 6 year old's was priceless. It was as if he was preparing them for the NCAA championship game, teaching life lessons about paying attention and working hard. Aidan was by his side that day and I hope, one day, becomes a lacrosse coach like his Dad. Dave was loved by many, made a positive difference in his community and will be sorely missed but always remembered.
Condolences to the entire family.

I shared more than a few trips to help a suffering alcoholic with Dave. His commitment to help “some poor slob worse off than [him]” was enviable, and his ability to comfort others in their time of need never ceased to amaze me.
My heart breaks for his two strong and loving sons, and his wife Renée, whose grace has always impressed me. His memory will live with me for the rest of my days, and I remain truly grateful for the warmth, humor, fiery passion, and true friendship he shared with me.
Death is nothing at all
I have only slipped away to the next room.
I am I and you are you.
Whatever we were to each other, That, we still are.
