Having Judy as a friend or colleague was a valued gift! As her NCUA colleague and forever friend, I experienced a woman who knew no bounds for giving! She worked long hours because she cared about her Federal duties, she ensured her co-workers were cared for by lending an empathetic ear, ensuring birthdays were well-recognized, or visiting others in the agency with a video recorder in hand asking if they would participate in her video-greeting to a seriously ill colleague. Judy had a "to do" list to rival anyone else's and she usually completed the list in due time! I know she carried her lists well into her retirement life as well and she often noted she was busier in retirement than at work! And I know that was who was Judy was, not someone who was busy to be busy, but busy caring for others, family and church and friends.
Sending love and comfort to Jennifer and Jeff and their families. I hope that the joy Judy gave throughout her life, remains in your hearts forever and will carry you through the grieving of your loss.

I loved being with "Aunt Julie." She was so warm, so gracious, she reached out to me as family & friend. I love how devoted she was to her children and grandchildren. Through her I got to know them, and I am happy whenever I see or hear of how they are doing. Julie & I always wrote each other at Christmas. I will miss her very much when I write my Christmas cards this year, but I am happy for her that she is surely in heaven.
