Dear Marcie,
It is with great sadness that I send condolences on the loss of your beloved mother and my dear friend. Mary and I met at the Sheehan stuttering therapy group many years ago and so our bond in friendship started out with this shared issue; I see it fitting to honor her memory this way. We shared adventures and confidences over the years. I was so happy to have been able to meet you, her daughter, as a toddler and then again as a lovely young woman, wife and mother.
