The Libert family has been my second family since the early days that Debbie, Chris and I were kids in Bethany Beach, Delaware. We all grew up together. The home away from home for us all. Our parents were OUR parents ... together. It was a partnership that they shared. They all raised us and turned us in to responsible adults over the years. We went crabbing, bike riding, went to the beach and, at nights, to raise trouble around town. As we grew older, we delved into partying together (our parents still don't know much, so don't spill the beans). We made many great friendships together throughout our early years, some of which still exist to this day. John and Joyce Libert will always be my second pair of parents. Debbie and Chris will always be my closest friends even if distance keeps us apart. I wish to extend my deepest condolences to all of the Libert family and their friends.

My greatest memory of Joyce is when she and I went shopping and got asked (kicked out) of a Dollar Tree Store. I'm going to miss her soooo very much. Joyce was a person who always left a lasting impression on many who met her. She had smile
which lasted. Joyce was a great wife, mother and friend. My heart goes out to Christopher and Debbie
and I'll keep them in my thoughts and prayers. She will be missed by many. Hugs and Love, Coop

Just thinking about Joyce makes me smile! She lit up the room with her presence and sense of humor. The students, colleagues, and parents all adored her. My favorite day of the week was when we would play volleyball in the gym with the Liberts after school. There was lots of fun and laughter. What a wonderful family! We are blessed to have known and loved Joyce and her family.

The O'Meara family was deeply saddened to hear of Joyce's passing. She was a great neighbor to us all in Great Falls for so many years. She was a wonderful, loving mother, as well as a fun-loving woman and good friend to many. She will be greatly missed, but she is reunited with John up in heaven and will continue to watch over Chris and Debbie.
