Joyce W. Libert (Age 75)
Feb. 24, 1945 – Dec. 22. 2020
On Tuesday, December 22, 2020, passed away peacefully with her two children, Debbie and Christopher by her side. She was the beloved wife of John Carroll Libert. Devoted loving mother of Debbie Libert and Christopher John Libert. Daughter of Paul R. and Virginia Wilson. Sister to Paul R. Wilson Jr. (Randy) and William A. Wilson (Bill) She is also survived by many In-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Joyce was a graduate of the School of the Little Flower '59, Academy of the Holy Cross '63, and the College of Notre Dame of Maryland '67. She was a very dedicated teacher of children of all ages and abilities, brilliant tutor, librarian, and dependable substitute teacher as her profession until retirement. Joyce was best known for her love of the beach, being an avid reader of books, and working crossword and jigsaw puzzles. Many would say that Joyce’s smile and her quick wit sense of humor would be loved by anyone she met.
A Catholic Mass and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. She will be laid to rest next to her loving husband John, with a private grave site service on January 15, 2020 at Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery, in Silver Spring, Maryland.
