We (The Rainey’s)are saddened to hear of the passing of Ron. Our condolences and prayers go out to Kathy and the family.
We served with Ron on RBC’s collaboration with Guilford Elementary Backpack Buddies. He showed us the ropes and was always loyal and excellent in his work.
One day as we delivered the bags to the school, a boy stepped aside from his class line to speak with Ron. He expressed his appreciation for the tutoring he had
received from Rom. I (Liz) could see the respect and friendship they shared.
Ron was always positive and had a way of working well with many different types of people.
We will always remember his godly example. We rejoice in knowing that he now is at home with our Lord.

My deepest sympathies to the Rohrbaugh family. As a fellow electrician, I had the pleasure of working with and knowing Ron since the late 1980’s. He was a good, thoughtful, caring, smart, and honest person as well as a talented electrician. It is so admirable that he continued to serve the community and the church after his retirement. I will miss him. – Scott Higbie.

Ron was such a faithful volunteer. He loved Jesus and loved children and dedicated his life to making children’s lives better and making sure they knew that Jesus loved them. He was such a blessing to me. He will be missed by so many. Sending prayers to Kathy and the family.

Ron was my only brother. Besides being my brother he was my playmate and best friend growing up. We had happy childhoods growing up in Falls Church Virginia. We loved playing wiffle ball, football and riding our bikes especially to a little store up the road in a trailer park where we would buy penny candy.
When he got sick we prayed for a miracle but for some reason God decided he needed Ron in heaven. Maybe he needed an electrican ,sunday school teacher or even an angel. There will be no more kidney stones ,cancer or pain. I know we will see him someday.
The real older brother

Dear Kathy and family,
Ron was so very special to the Guilford family. Of all the many, many meaningful ways he contributed to the lives of the students, perhaps one can be highlighted. Every summer you and Ron would take several students on a fun day out. You took them mini golfing and other activities and then to a restaurant for a meal. It is a time these children will never forget.
We will miss Ron so much and will always consider him as part of the Guilford family.
Gosh bless you all.
