Terrell was a member of the Herndon UMC Tuesday night bible study. We had a lot of good discussions and I personally will miss you, rest in peace.

I met Terrell and Vivian at Herndon United Methodist, but didn't know them well. They were both very gracious people and always cordial. Later, after Vivian died and I began to attend the Top of the Hill Gang for Seniors at HUMC, I was privileged to sit by Terrell on several occasions and enjoyed his comments and humor. As a fellow southerner, we enjoyed sharing tales of our upbringing and days in our home states. I am sorry for his loss and please know I are thinking of you at this sad time.
May our loving God wrap His arms around you and give you peace. You are in my prayers.

I was privileged to meet Terrell at Herndon UMC, where I served as Minister of Visitation for several years. I officiated at the funeral for his beloved Vivian, and through that came to know this kind, gentle spirit. We'd occasionally share notes about what we were reading; his mind was keen and his desire for learning was strong throughout his life. I hope he found a sense of community at Herndon UMC (especially with the "Top of the Hill Gang") as well as at his residence. Whenever we return to the halls of Herndon UMC, for me he will be conspicuous by his absence. May he rest in peace and await the promise of resurrection.
