Bill, you will be missed so much. I only got to spend 8 years getting to know you, but during that time you always made me feel like I was part of the family. It was a tough year for all of us losing Susan but especially for you. The loss of her took its toll on you but when you got to Heaven you must've had the biggest smile on your face seeing Susan, your mom and dad again. I'm sure no other family reunion was more joyous. My favorite memory will always be watching you and Susan dancing at my birthday party. You all looked like kids again having so much fun. Thank you and Susan for raising such an amazing man. Brad is so much like you. He loves the Lord and his family. Just know that everything you taught him he will pass along to his children and grandchildren. We are hurting here on Earth because you are no longer with us, but one day we will all meet up again in Heaven. Rest in Peace. Love always Lisa

Dadabill you were more than just a grandfather you were a role model for all of your grandkids. We’re all going to miss you but know it’s going to be okay because your in heaven with Nana. Please say hi for us and that we love her. When molly gets older I’m going to show her the picture we got to take on thanksgiving of us three together and tell her how special of a grandfather you were and teach her the special handshake. Make sure you let out one of those famous dadabill wolf calls up in heaven for us that we all knew and love as kids growing up. I love you and will never forget you.
Love Your grandson David.

Dad it’s been hard for me to be able to write the words on how I feel. When you left us you broke my heart. I knew the year mom has been gone you have been in such pain missing her. What I find peace in is I know you are with her know. You talked about how wonderful it was going to be to see her again. One of your last conversations we had you told me how much you loved me and all the kids and you were so proud to be my dad. Nothing will ever take the memories I have of you. I couldn’t have asked for a better dad. I will carry you and mom in my heart forever. I love you! Sissy

Finding the words to express our sincere, heartfelt sympathy to all the family is difficult to say the least. My prayer is that our Heavenly Father will carry you through this most difficult time. Brad, your dad was so very proud of the amazing son, father, and grandfather you have become. He knew he could count on you especially in keeping his stockpile of wood for his stove. God be with you, Lisa, and your family. Leslie (Sissy), your dad bragged on the way you were raising your 7 children. God blessed you with 7 children and your children were blessed with amazing parents. God be with you, Craig, and your family. Jenny, your dad was beaming with happiness when you completed your schooling to become a nurse (today’s first line hero). He bragged on your success while being a full time mom of 4 daughters. God be with you, Junior, and your family. Without a doubt, you were all loved and cherished by your father. He is at peace in heaven out of pain. Know I have told you this story, he was the best brother and friend of my life. He was my hero twice. He saved me from drowning in a lake when I was very young, and then invited me to his church where I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal savior. Dad and mom also accepted Christ as their Savior that day as well. He earned crowns in Heaven for leading us to our eternal destination. He has earned his wings for his love for the Lord. May he rest in eternal peace.
Love always & forever,
William & Sharon.

Dearest Brad, Leslie, Jenny, and Family,
I am so sorry hear of Uncle Bill's passing. I hope that he is resting peacefully in heaven with Aunt Susan. He was the most gentle and tender person and was glad to have him as my uncle. I always remember how he was so supportive and filled with god's love.
He showed me how to shoot a gun at his backyard range. Anytime spent with him was precious. Sending love, light, and prayers
Love,
Carrie, Tom, and Melissa

Dad thank you for all your love and thank you for showing me what it means to be a man. You gave me so much that money just cant buy. I am who I am today because of you and mom. What a legacy you have left! I thank God that He touched your heart that night in 1977 when you gave your life to Christ. It changed everything for this family. I have many memories of you thanking God for what He did. What a peace I have in knowing that you are in Heaven right now with mom and its all because of your faith in Jesus and what He did for us on the cross. God used you to lead many people to Him. I will miss your friendship, I knew you always had my back. The great hunts we shared, the long talks. We share so much in common. I promise I will do everything I can with my children Brandon,Kelsey and Dustin to leave that same legacy.
Thank you Richard for posting his favorite verse John 3:16. I cant count the times he recited it. It sums up the purpose of life so clearly. Here is another verse he loved. Its 1 Thessalonians 4:17. Then we are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds , to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
Till we meet again in Heaven. I love you. Your only son. Brad

I can’t find the words to say how much you will be missed. I love you so much but I know your happy now and all the pain is away. You meant so much to me and the memories that we shared will never be forgotten this last year has been the toughest I have ever faced and I have this empty feeling knowing I lost two of the greatest people I ever knew with you and your wife. I was hoping my kid would’ve gotten to experience how great and how much you guys were and meant to me while he grew up but god had other plans. Rest In Peace and go be with Nana one day will meet again and I’ll get to wrap my arms around you both. You taught me so much. I’ll love and miss you dearly.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)
Love you DadaBill from your first grandchild Richard Lee Manuel

To Brad, Sissy, Jenny, and all my family,
This has been a rough year all around, made even more tragic by this past event. My heart goes out to all you children, and the grandchildren. To my siblings, Nelson, Patsy, and Sharon - we have lost a part of ourselves, as well as Mom and Pop. The memories of growing up all together are now more precious, and we will treasure them and the stories about Bill even more. Getting older has taught me many things, not the least of which is that there will always be tough times - and you cannot control most of them. Some days it is just putting one foot in front of the other. I know all of us will deal with this in our own way, and I know we were raised to be strong, independent people, thanks to Mom and Pop. In the end, it is faith that will see us through. And the fact that we still are a family.
Bill was a good brother to me, and a friend and companion growing up. He was someone I looked up to - I was Best Man at Susan and his wedding. Life has a way of making things more complex; marriages, children, divorce, illness, distance. But I know Bill is at peace and Home, with his Heavenly Father. That's what Granny believed. I know he was forgiven for all and any actions when he was face to face with the Almighty. I will miss him with my whole heart. Please know I am thinking of all of you, and am only a phone call away. Sending prayers and love, Ronnie, Mary, Andy, Becca, and Matt
