Maureen Christina Doud was born in NY, NY on September 9, 1934. She moved to Northern Virginia and has resided there  for the last 58 years, died in her home surrounded by her family on January 5, 2021.

She is survived by her six children. Michael B Swift, Stephen P Swift, Gerald J Swift, Mary T Griffith, Colleen M Schwarz and Nancy E Jones.  Twelve grandchildren, Michael Vaughn, Taylor Vaughn & Christina Bui. James Cogswell, Allison Jones, & Bobby Jones. Annika Schwarz & Riley Schwarz. Emily Swift, Timothy Swift. Gerald Swift & Sophie Swift. Four great grandchildren, Camden Bui & Keegan Bui.Brayden Vaughn and Roman Thune   Predeceased by her husband William E. Doud. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Maureen worked as a patent secretary for Mobil Oil Corporation where she retired in 1996.  She also participated in Catholic Charities and was a devoted parishioner at Saint Timothys Catholic Church.
