Obituary of Joey Lee Martin

Joey Martin, 57, of Great Falls, Virginia, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his precious family on March 25, 2021. He was born in San Antonio, Texas, to the late Harold D. Martin and Bobbie K. Martin. He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Kathy and his life’s greatest accomplishment, his son Luke; his twin brother Jerry and wife Deborah of La Vernia, Texas; his sister Jackie Lehman and husband Joe of Huntsville, Texas. Joey was dedicated to the hospitality industry, starting his career at Intercontinental Hotel Group and spending the last 15 years with Choice Hotels. He treasured his work family and felt privileged to be part of the Choice Hotel culture. He was best known for his infectious laughter, great storytelling, and big hugs. Memorial visitation will be held Saturday, March 27,2021 from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm at Adams-Green Funeral Home, Herndon, Virginia. A private family memorial service will be held prior to visitation.
