Obituary of Anil D. Hemrajani
Please joine the family for remote viewing on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 beginning at 10:00am. Family and friends will share memories periodically throughout the visitation.
Anil Hemrajani was a very successful tech- entrepreneur by occupation but that simple label does not do justice to the depth and breadth of who he was. His family members have described him, variously, as a robotic genius with a quirk, an extremely unconventional thinker, a very honest, straightforward man with a great sense of humor, a man who was ahead of his times and someone whose deepest desire was to make a positive impact on the world. But above all else, he was a very devoted husband to his wife of 26 years, Divya Hemrajani, and a doting father for his two sons, Nash and Jay. He was also a loving brother to three sisters, Sunita, Sangita and Neetu.
However, life wasn’t only about work for Anil: as his many friends will attest, he was always the life of the party, and his versatile intellect made him a great conversationalist on a wide variety of topics. Anil could talk with intimate knowledge on subjects which ranged from the impact of future technologies on our culture, to contemporary forms of architecture, to the Bourbon Whiskey Trail , the 80’s music of the Thievery Corporation, and the perils and joys of stand-up comedy, just to name a few. He had the kind of ageless mind which was always intellectually curious and willing to venture into new territory.
He loved to travel, particularly with his family, and he made a special effort to travel with both his boys, and create special memories with them. He will be dearly missed and will live forever in the hearts of his beloved wife, Divya, his sons, Nash and Jay, and his extensive network of family and friends.
