Obituary of Toby Gerard Messitt

Toby Gerard Messitt, age 45, died on January 4, 2011 after a long illness at Prince William Hospital. He was born on January 11, 1965. Toby was the beloved son of William E. Messitt of Arlington,VA and the late Barbara Messitt, loving brother of Lisa Bailey, David Messitt, Gregory Messitt and his wife Sharon, Douglas Messitt and his wife Julia and Julie Godby and her husband John, Uncle of Logan, Connor, Liam, Garrett, Delaney, Amanda, Michael Godby and Michael Martineau and a host of many others. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 9 th at 2pm at Adams-Green Funeral Home, 721 Elden Street, Herndon, VA. Interment will be private. The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to INOVA Juniper Program Fund, INOVA Health System Foundation, 8110 Gatehouse Road, Suite 200E, Falls Church, VA 22042.
