Matthew Hayes Chadwick of Vienna, VA, passed away on Friday, June 11, 2021.

 

Born on May 19, 2000, Matthew is survived by his mother, Tamela B. Chadwick, his father and stepmother, James H. and Sandra W. Chadwick, his sister, Lauren E. Chadwick, his devoted aunt, Barbara Jean Creswell, and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.  Matthew also leaves behind his beloved chocolate lab Bruin. 

 

Matthew graduated from James Madison High School in 2018 and attended The University of Virginia at Wise. 

 

Matthew was a beautiful soul with a kind heart and a smile for everyone. 

 

Matthew had a passion for sports, whether participating, coaching, or cheering on his favorite teams.  Matthew especially enjoyed his time as a player in the Vienna Youth Football league where he went on to become a coach and continued to be part of the Vienna Youth Football community. 

 

A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, June 24, 2021, at Adams-Green Funeral Home, 721 Elden Street, Herndon, Virginia, 20170.  Visitation with family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m. with a Memorial Service commencing at 3:00 p.m.  Interment will be private.
