Peggy and I went to Nursing school together at Maryview Hospital Class of 1963; she was a delight! Fun to be around and a great laugh. Quiet, smart and so kind.
I know you will miss her terribly. My prayers and thoughts are with her wonderful family.

There are very few people as warm and caring and thoughtful as Peggy O'Neill. Her generous spirit and compassion lifted many fortunate animals to lives spent in her nurturing care. She could not bear the thought of an animal in distress. One time, she found a rat snake trapped under bird netting in her yard, and she would not rest until she located someone to help her release the trapped animal. It was but one incident of her broad and enduring concern for every life she encountered. We are fortunate to have known someone who so genuinely and deeply cared for all life. Her gentle spirit will be much missed.

Aunt Peggy was an amazing person. Her love of family and friends was unmeasurable. I have so many wonderful memories with her. So many holiday meals and parties, she was all about family and friends.
