I met Chris at a book discussion group. He was amazingly knowledgeable about so many subjects and added so much to our discussions. He was humble and soft spoken, kind and generous. I am very saddened at his passing. I will miss him at our meetings. My heart goes out to the family.
I am making a donation to the Boys and Girls Club as a tribute to his life.

I truly want to send my prayers and condolences to Mr. Chris' family and friends. I'm so thankful to God to have been able to work with him for 6 years at the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Washington. We worked at different clubs but would collaborate on projects for the youth. Once of those that I can recall the fondest memory of working alongside Mr. Chris was the STEM Day 2018 Math Bowl and Science Fair and to see Mr. Chris in his element creating math formula and fun for the youth was a joy to see. He will truly be missed and the Boys & Girls Club will never be the same without him. God Bless You All!--Brandon Williams

I knew Chris through Fairfax Boys and Girls Clubs. I saw what he put into the clubs from the start. He was such a kind and gentle man. I loved to see how patient he was with the club kids. He really was their Rock, being the steady hand guiding them. And then he could be so animated talking about the things he loved - music, robotics and all things science. He is missed, and his impact will go on through the kids he nurtured.

I enjoyed having Chris in Sunday School. He had good insights and it was nice to make the connection of Loudoun County Schools and music as a commonality. I am very saddened by his loss. Mu thoughts are with you all.

Chris and Phil spent many hours together. We had a great time when he joined my family on a trip to Calif.
Neighbors for many years we enjoyed his company and ability to make up fantastic stories with such a brilliant imagination. He will be missed.

My first memory of Chris was in 6th grade music. We sang, Consider Yourself. Immediately Chris took the lead, knew all the notes and sang it so well! No fear. I admired that. We got to know each other better through the school years. In 10th grade, we needed guys for the next year for persuasion (show choir). Not just guys, good ones. I approached (begged) Chris to join us. Serenading him at his locker. Consider Yourself….one of us. Thankfully, he joined us. I’m so happy I saw and spoke with him at our last reunion. He was talented, kind, funny, and great guy. He will be missed.
