Bobbie was a wonderful mentor during my time at Springwood, where I was a psychiatric technician during graduate school. She taught me a great deal about working in mental health and gave me the confidence I needed to succeed as a young 20 something. May her memory continue to be a blessing to all who had the privilege of knowing her.

The family of Alma McCool sends their deepest regrets for the loss of Roberta. My mother, Alma (daughter of Tom McCool), remembers their childhood spent together so very fondly. "Like two peas in a pod" is how she would recall their friendship, the closest of cousins. As a matter of fact, she had been searching for her in recent months hoping to reconnect after running across many pictures of them together. One of her most cherished photos is one of the two of them on the steps of St. Mary's all dressed in their First Communion finery. Prayers for peace at this most difficult time.

Michael and I are deeply saddened by the passing of Mrs Kennedy. As neighbors for the past three years, we had many wonderful conversations about living in Reston, politics, the arts and travel. We even realized very early on that Mrs Kennedy is the mom of our old friend from Langston Hughes, Patrick. We send our love to the entire family, especially the very kind Mr Kennedy, may Mrs Kennedy’s life be a blessing.
